Server-side JavaScript is available on oracleapex.com

Multilingual Engine (MLE) for JavaScript has been available to developers on oracleapex.com since the Oracle AI Database 26ai upgrade a few weeks ago. With the release of APEX 26.1, there is now an even better reason to explore a free APEX workspace and start experimenting with JavaScript directly in the database.

In this short video, you’ll learn how to connect to oracleapex.com, sign in to an APEX workspace, and use the popular validator.js module to validate page item values. Best viewed in fullscreen mode.

While validation is a great starting point, MLE/JavaScript can be used for much more. For additional examples and use cases, take a look at this blog post.
